Quick Step-by-Step Breakdown
(1) Make the Nougat – Mix almond butter, pea protein, maple syrup, and salt in a bowl. Add water (one tablespoon at a time) until a playdough-like dough forms.
(2) Press & Set – Firmly press the nougat layer into a lined 8” x 4” baking pan.
(3) Make the Caramel – In a saucepan, boil caramel ingredients over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes, stirring constantly.
