(1) Make the Dough – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, flax meal, vanilla protein powder, sugar, and salt.

(2) Warm the Milk –Microwave milk and butter for about 45 seconds until warm (not hot!) and butter is mostly melted. Stir in the yeast until dissolved.

(3) Mix It Up – Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients, add the egg, and stir until a shaggy dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 3–4 minutes until smooth, adding flour if needed. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 15 minutes.

(4) Roll It Out – Roll the dough into a 9x14-inch rectangle. Spread soft butter all over, leaving a small border. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon. Gently spread with your hands.
